Object Storage
Bucket access for people who will never open a cloud console
Fenwave puts S3 and Google Cloud Storage behind a plain file browser — Azure Blob is coming: folders, upload, download, move, delete. The person using it needs no cloud account and no access keys, because permission is granted per storage connection in Fenwave and every action is written to the audit log under their own name.
In this capability
- Browse buckets like folders — no CLI, no console, no access keys
- Upload, download, move, rename and delete from the browser
- Permissions granted per storage connection, per role
- Read-only, write and delete are separate grants — hand out exactly one
- Every action recorded in the audit log against a named person
- Works with AWS S3 and Google Cloud Storage; Azure Blob Storage is coming
- Connections from different clouds side by side — a bucket need not match your cluster’s provider
